Well, that was a scary walk. Thankfully, it ended well due to our Pawfit tracker, but it could have been a very different story.

Trixie got stuck in stream due to very deep overgrown banks! Although she hadn't gone far from me, I just couldn't see her and it's only due to the Pawfit tracker showing me the area that she was in, that I was able to find her and drag her out!

I've walked in the same place for over 20 years and have NEVER had a problem like this - I think the recent high water levels have made the banks very wet and slippery, so as the level has gone down, it's left bare mud behind which they just couldn't get a grip on!

Poor Trixie had been in the water for about 5 minutes so was very cold and looked stiff. I genuinely think had she not had her Pawfit Tracker on I may still be out there looking for her and the ending may have been very different!

I see people comment all the time that dogs with good recall shouldn't need a tracker but today showed me the exact reason why they are 100% worth having regardless of how good a dog’s recall is - she wasn't ignoring me, she literally just couldn't get back to me!
